Cala en Brut is a small quieter cove, with stunning deep blue waters and within very close proximity to the old town of Ciutadella. It is located between Cala en Forcat and Clot d’en Barceló, as well as is situated close to the residential areas of Cala Blanes and Los Delfines. There is plenty to see and do within walking distance thus making it the perfect getaway for those seeking tranquillity in the sun. Two main characteristics of this cove are its beauty and quietness which attract returning tourists each year.
One of the main attractions of Cala en Brut is its diving platforms made from polished rocks which are located around the cliff sides with ladders leading down to the water. This is perfect for the more adventurous swimmers who enjoy jumping from the platforms into the deep blue water and perfect for spending hours in the sea snorkelling. This cove doesn't have any sand and is known by locals as ´´a natural swimming pool´´. With its deep blue waters, it makes it a swimmer's and diver's paradise. Another popular area for divers is the Pont d’en Gil and Sa Cigonya, which forms a natural bridge where small boats can pass through.
This small resort is perfect for families with young children as it has lots of free play areas in the bars and restaurants and is also close to the neighbouring holiday resort of Los Delfines which has many attractions such as a waterpark to keep the kids entertained. Being so close to the main town of Ciutadella this is ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in Menorca's history and culture while sampling the local gastronomy of the restaurants in the old town.
On clear days the mountains of Mallorca are visibly clear and make it the perfect spot for watching the sun setting over Menorca. A ferry runs from Ciutadella port to Alcudia almost every day.
